smhi API for agents (unofficial) — JSON over curl | clify
SMHI (Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute): look up places, get current weather, 10-day forecasts and recent observed weather, see active weather warnings, search SMHI's open-data catalog, download station observations from the open metobs API, and search or read knowledge-bank and news articles.
Host: smhi.se. Call these verified read commands with plain curl; no install, key, or account. Use the public JSON API with plain curl. No install, key, account, or browser is needed. Example: curl 'https://clify-dev.netlify.app/sites.json'. Start with /search?q=weather, then call /abc/COMMAND. Responses are one JSON object. The hosted MCP and GitHub repo are also available.

Find places in Sweden by name. Returns the geonameid and lat/lon that the forecast and warning commands take. Params: query*
